Intermediate Web/Graphic Designer - Full-time/Permanent (ID: GD0801)

Fast growing finance and business intelligence company has an immediate start position for an intermediate web designer/graphic designer.

This is an awesome opportunity for a well-rounded designer who has strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be part of a dynamic and friendly environment working across a variety of web applications and printing products.

The Role

You will be involved in the maintainance of current websites, building new sites on an already developed platform, designing printing products such as brochure, product catalogues, product guidelines and assisting developers in new online media and web development. This is a great position for an intermediate designer seeking to expand their skills. You will be working in PHP, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Photoshop, CorelDraw/Illustrator on a daily basis. Tasks will range from quick turn-around updates to full site builds based on the direction of our Senior Developers. You will communicate with customers to ensure that their requirements are met.

Responsibilities include

Developing an online visual design strategy for our expanding stable of clients that results in an engaging and remarkable interactive experience
Designing site design concepts that accurately represent the client's brand and marketing initiatives
Taking design concepts and translate them into websites with pixel perfect accuracy
Managing and prioritizing projects to ensure the successful delivery of projects that exceed expectations
Creating the printed image, advertising and marketing pieces that promote the programs, special events, facilities, database, products of the World'Vest Base Inc. and its business partners.
Create ads, product/service catalog, brochures, direct mail and more

What we are looking for

Proficiency with leading design software, e.g., Photoshop, Dreamweaver.. and efficient with great attention to detail. You must have strong experience with at least one of vector design program such as Illustrator and/or CorelDraw
Minimum of 1 - 2 years of design agency experience or equivalent.
A candidate with business-oriented or industry-oriented design style (artwork style is not preferred) (see the demo at the bottom)
HTML/CSS experience
Proactive attitude to work and learning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent time management skills
An enthusiasm to work in a creatively client focused team!
A BFA/MFA in graphic design or related field or a self-starter motivated to drive the industry in new directions

It is nice if you have

Flash experience is a plus
Knowledge of PHP is a plus
Knowledge of SQL (MySQL, Oracle) is a plus
Understanding of and experience with creating pdf files for print and web.
Web standard knowledge
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and challenges
English skill is a plus

World'Vest Base là một công ty tài chính có văn phòng tại nhiều quốc gia trên thế giới đang cần tìm một ứng cử viên cho vị trí thiết kế đồ họa tại văn phòng ở Việt Nam.

Đây là cơ hội cho những người có chuyên môn thiết kế tốt, có kinh nghiệm và mong muốn làm việc trong một môi trường năng động, thân thiện để tạo ra các sản phẩm in ấn và các ứng dụng web tại một công ty đang hoạt động trong một lĩnh vực đang rất nóng của nền kinh tế là tài chính.

Vai trò

Cùng với thành viên trong công ty, ứng cử viên sẽ tham gia vào việc bảo trì các website hiện thời, phát triển các website mới trên một nền tảng đã có, thiết kế các sản phẩm in ấn như hồ sơ quảng bá (brochure), danh mục sản phẩm, hướng dẫn sử dụng và trợ giúp các lập trình viên trong việc phát triển các ứng dụng web. Ứng cử viên sẽ thường xuyên tiếp xúc trực tiếp hoặc gián tiếp với các công nghệ PHP, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Photoshop, CorelDraw/Illustrator. Công việc sẽ bao gồm từ việc thực hiện chỉnh sửa nhanh cho đến xây dựng toàn bộ site dựa trên hướng dẫn của các lập trình cấp cao. Ứng cử viên cũng có thể cần giao tiếp với khách hàng để nắm bắt được nhu cầu của họ.

Trách nhiệm cụ thể bao gồm

Tham gia vào việc phát triển cách thức tiếp cận khách hàng qua giao diện đồ họa trực quan và hình ảnh.
Tạo nên các sản phẩm thiết kế hay ý tưởng nhằm thể hiện chính xác thương hiệu và nhu cầu quảng bá sản phẩm của công ty và khách hàng
Biến ý tưởng thiết kế thành website với giao diện đẹp.
Bố trí thời gian hợp lý để hoàn thành các dự án
Tạo ra các hình ảnh cho các ấn phẩm, tài liệu marketing và quảng cáo để quảng bá các sản phẩm và dịch vụ của công ty và đối tác.

Yêu cầu đối với ứng cử viên

Thành thạo các công cụ thiết kế như Photoshop, Dreamweaver... Ứng cử viên phải có kinh nghiệm làm việc với một trong các công cụ đồ họa vector sau: Illustrator hay CorelDraw
Tối thiểu 1 năm kinh nghiệm làm việc liên tục ở vị trí thiết kế đồ họa hay web tại các công ty thiết kế hoặc kinh nghiệm tương đương (kinh nghiệm làm việc freelance, tự lập website... hay kinh nghiệm làm việc khác) trong năm gần đây nhất.
Có thị hiếu thẩm mĩ mang phong cách công nghiệp và thương mại (khác với thị hiểu thẩm mĩ nghệ thuật artwork) (xem mô tả cuối trang)
Có kiến thức về HTML/CSS
Chủ động làm việc và học tập
Biết cách giao tiếp và truyền đạt ý kiến cá nhân
Biết cách phối hợp làm việc theo nhóm
Biết cách bố trí sắp xếp thời gian và mức độ ưu tiên cho từng công việc
Thích làm việc trong một môi trường hướng đến khách hàng
Được đào tạo theo một chương trình đồ họa bài bản hoặc tự học với niềm đam mê và có cá tính sáng tạo. Chúng tôi đặc biệt nhấn mạnh đến kĩ năng làm việc thực tế của ứng cử viên thay vì bằng cấp.
