Sales Representative
Job Description

We searching for a sales representative to join our team and
help increase sales, expand the customer base locally and
nationally, and contribute to rapid growth. The sales
representative will have a strong understanding of the sales
process and excel at generating leads, building relationships,
and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner
who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our
offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving
presentations and attending networking events and trade shows,
the sales representative must be both personable and
professional.

Sales Representative Responsibilities

  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by
    successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and
    tactics

  • Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective
    qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new
    business in all service categories

  • Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of products and
    services to answer customer questions and determine
    appropriate solutions

  • Represent the brand in a professional manner that results in
    repeat business and a positive customer experience

  • Interact regularly with customers to understand their needs
    and recommend the right products and services

  • Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that
    quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer-service skills,
    especially in high-stress situations

  • Strong business acumen and sense of ethics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team
    efforts
Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 2 or more years of sales experience, ideally within our
    industry (Financial Data/Information Industry)

  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota

  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time to customer
    events

  • Sharp negotiation and time-management skills
