Sales Representative
Job Description
We searching for a sales representative to join our team and
help increase sales, expand the customer base locally and
nationally, and contribute to rapid growth. The sales
representative will have a strong understanding of the sales
process and excel at generating leads, building relationships,
and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner
who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our
offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving
presentations and attending networking events and trade shows,
the sales representative must be both personable and
professional.
Sales Representative Responsibilities

Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by
successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and
tactics

Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective
qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new
business in all service categories

Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of products and
services to answer customer questions and determine
appropriate solutions

Represent the brand in a professional manner that results in
repeat business and a positive customer experience

Interact regularly with customers to understand their needs
and recommend the right products and services

Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that
quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld
Required Skills and Qualifications

Outstanding interpersonal and customer-service skills,
especially in high-stress situations

Strong business acumen and sense of ethics

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to work independently while contributing to team
efforts
Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-
2 or more years of sales experience, ideally within our
industry (Financial Data/Information Industry)

Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
-
Ability to travel at least 30% of the time to customer
events

Sharp negotiation and time-management skills
